About these terms
These terms apply whenever you book or take a driving lesson with Learners Code Driving School (also known as L-Code Driving School), based at Scott Hall Road, Chapeltown, Leeds, LS7. By booking a lesson with us, you agree to these terms.
Booking a lesson
You can book a lesson by phone, WhatsApp, or through our contact form. If you're new to us, we usually recommend starting with a 2-hour assessment lesson so we can build a lesson plan around your experience and confidence level.
Prices and payment
Lessons are paid for individually, per lesson taken. Current rates are listed on our pricing page and may include discounted block-booking rates. Any block booking you purchase does not expire.
Cancellations and rescheduling
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson. If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, you'll lose the full lesson fee. We understand emergencies happen — if something genuinely unexpected comes up, get in touch and we'll always try to be reasonable.
Vehicle, insurance, and instructor qualifications
Lessons take place in a fully insured, dual-controlled vehicle, with a DVSA-approved instructor. You're covered by our instructor's insurance while driving under supervision during a lesson.
Your responsibilities
- You must hold a valid provisional (or full) UK driving licence before your first lesson
- You must meet the DVLA's eyesight requirements and tell us about any medical condition that could affect your ability to drive safely
- You should arrive on time and ready for your lesson, at the agreed pick-up point
Liability
We take reasonable care to deliver safe, well-structured lessons. Our instructor's vehicle insurance covers lessons conducted under normal, agreed conditions. We're not responsible for losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as adverse weather, road closures, or DVSA test cancellations.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally as our services change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
