Who we are
Learners Code Driving School (also known as L-Code Driving School) is the data controller responsible for your personal data. We're based at Scott Hall Road, Chapeltown, Leeds, LS7, England. What personal data we collect
We only collect data you give us directly. We don't use tracking cookies or analytics scripts that build a profile of visitors to our site.
- Contact form: your first name, last name, email address, phone number, lesson interest, and any message you write to us.
- Phone and WhatsApp: if you call or message us directly, we see whatever your phone or WhatsApp normally shares (such as your number), but we don't collect this through the website itself.
- Success stories: with your explicit permission, we may publish your first name, general area (e.g. "Leeds" or "Chapeltown"), and a photo on our reviews page to celebrate your test pass. We never publish this without asking you first.
How we use your data
We use the information you give us to:
- Respond to your enquiry and discuss lesson availability, pricing, or booking
- Arrange and deliver the driving lessons you've booked with us
- Share your success story on our website, only if you've agreed to this
We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising or marketing you haven't asked for.
Our legal basis for processing your data
We rely on your consent when you submit the contact form or agree to a published success story, and on our legitimate interest as a small local business in responding to enquiries and delivering the lessons you've booked.
Who we share your data with
When you submit our contact form, the message is delivered to our inbox using Web3Forms, a form-processing service. Web3Forms only handles your submission to deliver it to us by email and doesn't use your data for its own purposes. We don't share your data with any other third party, and we never sell it.
How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry details only for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and arrange lessons. Published success stories remain live on the site until you ask us to remove them.
Cookies
Our website stores one small, functional preference in your browser's local storage (your chosen colour theme). This stays on your device, is never sent to us, and isn't used to track you. We don't currently use any analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes in the future, we'll update this page and ask for your consent where required.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Ask us to delete your data, including removing a published success story
- Object to or restrict how we use your data
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
